Refund policy

Last Updated: September 2026

Atelier Southeast LLC (“Atelier Southeast,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) wants every customer to receive the correct product in the condition and configuration ordered.

This policy explains our return, exchange, cancellation, replacement, and refund procedures.

1. General Policy

Because Atelier Southeast sells both non-customized products and customized/personalized products, different return rules apply depending on the type of order.

Customized and personalized products are produced specifically according to the customer’s approved specifications and therefore are generally final sale once production begins.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.

2. Non-Customized Products

Eligible non-customized products may be returned within 30 calendar days of delivery.

This 30-day return period is Atelier Southeast’s voluntary commercial return policy and is not intended to represent a general statutory 30-day return right under Florida law.

To qualify for a return, the product must generally be:

  • unworn;

  • unwashed;

  • unused;

  • undamaged;

  • in original condition;

  • free from odors, stains, alterations, or other signs of use;

  • accompanied by original tags or packaging when applicable; and

  • accompanied by proof of purchase.

Certain products may be excluded from return eligibility when identified as non-returnable on the product page, at checkout, or in an applicable order-specific agreement.

3. Size Exchanges

Eligible non-customized products may be exchanged for another available size within the applicable 30-day return period, subject to product availability.

The customer is generally responsible for return shipping and any applicable replacement shipping costs when the exchange is requested because of size preference or customer selection.

Customized or personalized products are not eligible for size exchanges unless the issue resulted from an error by Atelier Southeast or another legally required remedy applies.

4. Customized and Personalized Products

Customized and personalized products are generally final sale once production begins.

This includes, without limitation:

  • customized T-shirts;

  • hoodies and sweatshirts;

  • polos;

  • jackets;

  • hats and caps;

  • embroidered products;

  • printed products;

  • DTF products;

  • screen-printed products;

  • personalized names or numbers;

  • customized bags and accessories; and

  • other products produced according to customer specifications.

Customized products generally cannot be returned or exchanged because of:

  • change of mind;

  • incorrect size selected by the customer;

  • incorrect color selected by the customer;

  • incorrect quantity ordered;

  • customer spelling errors;

  • customer-supplied artwork errors;

  • customer-approved design errors;

  • preference changes after approval; or

  • other customer-requested changes after production has begun.

5. Mockup Approval

Before production of a customized order begins, Atelier Southeast will generally provide a mockup for customer review.

Customers may request revisions before approval.

Production will begin only after the customer approves the final mockup in writing.

The customer is responsible for reviewing and approving all information appearing in the final mockup, including spelling, names, numbers, artwork, colors, sizes, product selection, placement, and other specifications.

An error that was included in a customer-approved mockup will generally not be considered an Atelier Southeast production error.

6. Customer-Provided Artwork

Customers may provide logos, photographs, artwork, graphics, trademarks, text, or other content for production.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that they have all necessary rights, licenses, permissions, and authorizations to use such content.

Atelier Southeast is not responsible for claims arising from a customer’s unauthorized use of copyrighted, trademarked, patented, proprietary, or otherwise protected material.

7. Artwork Preparation and Additional Fees

Customer artwork may require technical preparation before production.

Additional charges may apply for services such as:

  • vectorization;

  • embroidery digitization;

  • artwork cleanup;

  • file conversion;

  • background removal;

  • image preparation;

  • design adjustments;

  • resizing beyond normal production requirements; or

  • other technical preparation.

Any applicable additional fee should be communicated to the customer before the work is performed when reasonably possible.

If the customer supplies production-ready artwork that meets the required specifications, no artwork-preparation fee will normally apply unless otherwise agreed.

8. Production Errors, Defects, or Incorrect Orders

If Atelier Southeast makes a material production error or sends a product that materially differs from the approved order because of an error on our part, please contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery.

Depending on the circumstances, Atelier Southeast may provide an appropriate remedy, which may include:

  • correction;

  • reproduction;

  • replacement;

  • return authorization;

  • refund; or

  • another appropriate resolution.

When the issue is confirmed to be caused by an Atelier Southeast error, we will generally cover reasonable return or replacement shipping costs.

9. Damaged During Shipping

If your order arrives damaged, contact Atelier Southeast within 3 calendar days of delivery and provide photographs of the package and damaged products.

We may request additional information or documentation to assist with a carrier claim.

10. Normal Wear, Misuse, or Improper Care

Atelier Southeast is not responsible for damage resulting from:

  • normal wear and tear;

  • improper washing;

  • improper drying;

  • improper ironing;

  • chemical exposure;

  • misuse;

  • alterations;

  • accidents;

  • neglect;

  • unauthorized modifications; or

  • failure to follow applicable care instructions.

11. Sale, Clearance, and Promotional Items

Sale, clearance, promotional, or specially discounted products may be designated as final sale when identified as such on the applicable product page, checkout, quote, or order documentation.

Customized products remain subject to the customized-product provisions of this policy regardless of whether a promotional price was applied.

12. Incorrect Quantity Ordered

Customers are responsible for reviewing quantities before approving an order.

For customized, personalized, business, corporate, or bulk orders, products ordered in excess of the quantity actually needed by the customer are generally not eligible for return or refund.

13. Order Cancellations

Customized Orders

A customized order may generally be cancelled before production begins, subject to any applicable non-refundable fees or order-specific terms.

Once the final mockup has been approved and production has begun, the order generally cannot be cancelled or modified.

Non-Customized Orders

Cancellation requests for non-customized orders may be accepted if the order has not yet been processed, prepared, or shipped.

Once an order has entered fulfillment or shipment, cancellation may no longer be possible.

14. Refunds

Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Processing time may vary depending on the payment processor, bank, credit card issuer, or financial institution.

Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the refund results from an error attributable to Atelier Southeast or applicable law requires otherwise.

15. Return Shipping

For returns or exchanges requested because of:

  • customer preference;

  • change of mind;

  • size selection;

  • color selection; or

  • other customer-related reasons,

the customer is generally responsible for return shipping and applicable replacement shipping costs.

For confirmed Atelier Southeast errors or qualifying defects, Atelier Southeast will generally cover reasonable return or replacement shipping costs.

17. B2B and Bulk Orders
